Cooking Instructions
Cooking Instructions

Instructions: Always check the gnocchi is hot throughout before serving.

Hob

Instructions: 1-2 minutes.
The practical bit: Remove all packaging. Add the gnocchi to a large pan of boiling salted water and simmer for the time indicated, until the dumplings rise to the surface. Check they're hot through before draining. Serve stirred through a rich tomato sauce, with a grating of Parmesan.

Oven cook

Instructions: 180°C/gas 4. 30 minutes.
The practical bit: Remove all packaging. Tip 200g of your favourite sauce into a casserole dish, stir in 100ml of water, then scatter over the gnocchi. Cover with foil, and cook in the preheated oven for 20 minutes. Remove the foil and stir together to combine, scatter over grated cheese (if you like) and return to the oven, uncovered, for 10 minutes, or until bubbling. Serve.

Shallow Fry

5 minutes.
The practical bit: Remove all packaging. Put a splash of olive oil or a knob of unsalted butter in a large non-stick frying pan on a medium heat. Add the gnocchi and fry, gently turning them now and then, for 5 minutes, or until crisp and golden. Then stir them through your favourite sauce (tomato, cheese, pesto), and serve.
